Robert Davis Member, MAIF International Advisory Board MARTIAL ARTS HISTORY 2000-2004 appointed the international tournament director for the 2002 World Congress of Martial Arts. Appointed the Colorado State President of the United States Ju-Jitsu Federation. Appointed Colorado State Commissioner for Ju-Jitsu at the State Games. Held 2000 and 2004 state qualifiers and sent 70 Omega Martial Arts competitors to Cancun from Utah and Colorado, returning with over 60 medals. Served as Arbitrator for the Utah State Games Tae Kwon Do competition. Nominated to the World Karate Union Hall of Fame. 1996-1997 head instructor of Omega Martial Arts, opened school in France, Fort Collins, and many recreation after school programs, developed a complete system to teach 4 7 year olds martial arts. 1995- member of the Colorado Karate Association board. Promoted a national tournament. Began teaching Ju-Jitsu in the school. 1994-president and head instructor of Omega Martial Arts. Served on the Board of Directors for the USAKF. Regional director for Global TKD. 1993- president and head instructor of Omega Martial Arts. Served on the board of directors and vice president of the USAKF of Colorado. Responsible for the 1993 Colorado State games karate tournament. 1991-head instructor and president of Omega Martial Arts. Awarded 6th degree black belt and named Colorado state coach for the USAKF. [The Olympic committee as the governing body for karate has appointed USAKF.] 1983-1991 developed the Omega Martial Arts system. Formed the business of Omega Karate inc. opened schools in Littleton, Parker, Castle Rock Co, and Utah. Promoted over 70 black Belts and developed a teaching core of 40 instructors. Opened nine outlets including two schools in Utah and one in Arizona. Was rated number one fighter in the masters division and national tournament competitor in weapons. 1976-1982 trained under and instructed for several different systems of Martial Arts. Opened one school and was forced to close due to bad economy. RANK PROMOTION HISTORY 1972 received a 1st degree black belt in Taekwondo and Yudo [Korean combat Judo] from Christian Taekwondo. 1976 received a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo and Yudo from Christian Taekwondo. 1980 received a 3rd degree black belt in Taekwondo from the Kukikwon. 1983 received a 4th degree black belt in Taekwondo from the American Tang Soo Do, Moo Duk Kwon. 1986 received a 5th degree black belt. 1991 received a 6th degree black belt in Japanese Karate from Master George Anderson, and a 6th degree black belt in Taekwondo from Mr. Kim of New Jersey. 1998 received a 7th degree black belt in Taekwondo from the World Congress of Martial Arts. 1999 received a 7th degree black belt in Ju-Jitsu from the USJJF 2004 received a 2nd degree Black Belt in Taiho Jutsu from USJJF EDUCATION HISTORY Graduated from Westminster high school 1962. Attended Rockmont College, now Colorado Christian WORK HISTORY 1962-1991 owned and operated Robert Davis painting co. 1969-1972 on staff of Campus Life [division of Youth for Christ.] PERSONAL BORN 12/16 1944.
