James R. Webb Senior International Advisor Winning the Junior National Judo ChampionshipWinning the High School National Judo Championship Received the rank of Nidan (2nd degree black belt) in Shotokan karate in 1995. Jiu Jitsu training started in 1968 in Luke AFB under a variety of instructors. The primary style was Kito-Ryu. Studied the Koshiki-no-Kata at the Kodokan in Tokyo, Japan. Studied Goshin Jitsu at the Kodokan in Tokyo, Japan on numerous occasions. Lived in Japan in the late seventies and practiced Jiu Jitsu with the Japanese Defense Force. Jiu Jitsu instructor for the West Point Recondo School in 1975. Jiu Jitsu instructor for the 7th Special Forces Group from the mid seventies to the early eighties. Jiu Jitsu instructor for the 12th Special Forces Group in the early to mid-eighties. All of these teaching assignments were Jiu Jitsu techniques adapted for military situations. Studied Heike-Ryu Jiu Jitsu under Vince Tamura since 1981. Currently the Promotion Chairman for Heike-Ryu Jiu Jitsu. Also the Treasurer and a Member of the Board of the United States Judo Association and a Member of the USJA Jiu Jitsu Committee. Earned the rank of Rokudan (6th degree black belt) in both Heike-Ryu Jiu Jitsu, US JU-JITSU, and the USJA Jiu Jitsu system. He is a 7th Dan in Kodokan Judo by the International Judo Federation (IJF) and USA-Traditional Kodokan Judo (USA-TKJ).
